School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Rolla, MO
Requirements: Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Active MO SLP License
Pay Range: $35-$55 per hour, based on experience
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Rolla, MO. This position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive school environment, helping students with speech and language disorders to succeed academically and socially. As an SLP, you will assess, diagnose, and provide therapy to students, creating individualized plans to address their unique communication needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
- Provide direct therapy to students in one-on-one and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
- Educate parents and staff on strategies to enhance students' communication skills.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Missouri SLP License.
- Previous school-based experience is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for working with students and making a positive impact on their development.
