Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Racine, WI. This position offers an opportunity to work in a school-based setting, helping students develop essential communication skills and reach their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess speech, language, and communication needs of students.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with the educational team.
- Provide direct therapy services tailored to individual student needs.
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school and state guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings to support student success and advocate for their needs.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and staff to foster a supportive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Current Wisconsin SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for helping students overcome challenges and succeed academically.
