About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Queensbury, NY. As an SLP in a school-based setting, you will provide therapy and support to students with speech and language disorders, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve academic success. Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose students with speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students.
- Provide one-on-one and group therapy services to students.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student growth.
- Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions, progress, and assessments.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and progress.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active New York State SLP License.
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with students, families, and staff.
- Ability to create engaging therapy sessions and make a positive impact on student success.
