School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Philadelphia, PA

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. This school-based role focuses on providing comprehensive speech and language services to students, helping them achieve their academic and social potential.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address students’ specific needs.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support and monitor student progress.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions, evaluations, and progress reports.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for classroom accommodations and modifications.
- Educate and support teachers and families on strategies to enhance students’ communication skills.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Pennsylvania SLP license.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
