About the Position:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school-based team in Parsippany, NJ. In this role, you will provide speech and language therapy services to students, collaborate with educators and families, and contribute to the development of individualized education plans (IEPs) to support student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on each student’s needs.
- Provide direct speech therapy services in both one-on-one and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to monitor student progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and revisions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and treatment plans.
- Provide guidance to staff and parents on strategies to support speech and language development.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid New Jersey licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist or eligibility to obtain.
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply.
- Experience working in a school setting is a plus, but not required.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
