School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Palatine, IL

We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Palatine, IL. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative school environment, providing essential speech and language services to students with a wide range of communication challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech and language assessments to identify student needs and develop treatment plans.
- Implement individualized therapy programs focused on improving speech articulation, language comprehension, social communication, and fluency.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create a supportive environment for students' communication development.
- Develop and maintain IEPs (Individualized Education Plans) and track student progress.
- Provide direct therapy to students in individual and group settings, adjusting techniques to best meet student needs.
- Offer support and guidance to staff and families regarding speech-language development and strategies.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Illinois State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
