School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Oak Harbor, WA
Job Description:
Soliant is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based position in Oak Harbor, WA. The selected candidate will provide speech and language services to students, helping them improve communication skills that are essential for academic and social success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on the students' goals.
- Provide therapy sessions for students with a range of speech and language disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support students' speech and language development within the classroom.
- Monitor and document students' progress toward meeting their therapy goals.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for accommodations and support.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Washington state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred but not required (CFs are welcome to apply).
- Prior experience in a school setting is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and staff.
