A school district near Fredericksburg, Virginia, is looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to support students in improving their communication skills while working in a collaborative school environment.
Position Details:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs.
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for communication disorders.
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain detailed documentation.
- Ensure compliance with school and state guidelines.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Virginia SLP license (or eligibility to obtain).
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- School-based experience is a plus.
