Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school-based team in Muenster, IL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating students with speech, language, and communication disorders to help them achieve success in the classroom and beyond.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
- Provide direct speech therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to monitor and support student progress.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of student evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings to provide input and recommendations for accommodations and modifications.
- Educate and train teachers and families on strategies to support students' speech and communication skills.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Illinois SLP license.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Previous school-based experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative educational environment.
