Description:
We are seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Madison Heights, VA. As an SLP in a school-based setting, you will assess, diagnose, and provide therapy to students with speech, language, and communication disorders. This position offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students' lives by supporting their communication development and academic success.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students' speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support students' communication goals
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Virginia state SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience in a school setting is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
