Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Louisburg, NC. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating students with speech and language disorders to support their academic and social success. You will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students' speech and language abilities and diagnose disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address communication challenges.
- Provide direct therapy services to students to enhance their speech, language, and communication skills.
- Monitor and document student progress, making adjustments to therapy plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' educational goals.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of students' educational plans.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid North Carolina state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in a school setting.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
