Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services in Kinston, NC. The SLP will work with students in a school setting to assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders, including speech, language, voice, and fluency challenges. The ideal candidate will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to create individualized treatment plans that help students achieve their communication goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students' speech and language abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders in individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with educators and parents to support student progress and integrate therapy goals into the classroom.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student progress and goals.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current North Carolina SLP licensure.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting is a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
