Job Description:
Soliant is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services to students in a school-based setting in Kinnelon, NJ. The ideal candidate will assess and treat speech, language, and communication disorders to help students thrive academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language impairments in students.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students' specific needs.
- Provide direct therapy services using evidence-based approaches to improve communication skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' progress.
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide insights and recommendations.
- Educate teachers and caregivers on strategies to reinforce communication goals at home and in the classroom.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid New Jersey SLP license.
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
