School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Irvington, NJ

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school-based team in Irvington, NJ. The SLP will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating students with speech, language, and communication disorders to enhance their educational experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address each student's unique needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both in individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students’ communication and academic goals.
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to the creation and review of student goals and objectives.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress reports.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid SLP license or certification in New Jersey.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
