Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school team in Indianapolis, IN! Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders among school-aged students.
- Design and implement therapy plans tailored to each student’s unique needs.
- Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on student engagement and progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to integrate speech goals into the classroom environment.
- Develop and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and attend related meetings.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting intervention strategies as necessary.
- Provide resources and training to staff and families to reinforce student success.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Indiana state SLP license or eligibility to obtain.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFs are welcome to apply.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- A commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for students.
