Description: Soliant is seeking a passionate School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team and make a difference in the lives of students. As an SLP in a school-based setting, you will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders, supporting students' academic success and social development.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication skills.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school teams.
- Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support students' communication needs within the classroom environment.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Stay current with best practices and evidence-based interventions in school-based speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively engage with students, parents, and school staff.
