Job Description:
Soliant is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Huntsville, AL. This school-based position offers a unique opportunity to support students with communication disorders, helping them thrive academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s unique needs.
- Provide direct therapy services using evidence-based practices and innovative techniques.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to support student development and achievement.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy activities.
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Plan) meetings and contribute to team planning.
- Educate staff and parents on speech and language development and available resources.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Alabama State SLP license.
- ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
- Previous experience working in a school setting or with children is advantageous.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
