Job Description:
Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Houston, TX! We are seeking a passionate and dedicated professional to join our team and help students develop the communication skills they need to thrive academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication needs.
- Create and implement tailored therapy plans to address individual student goals.
- Deliver engaging speech and language therapy sessions in a school-based setting.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to foster a supportive learning environment.
- Attend and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing expert insight into student progress.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of services provided and student progress.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Active Texas SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates are welcome to apply.
- Passion for working with children and helping them overcome communication challenges.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
