Job Opportunity: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Hebron, CT
Are you a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist looking to make a meaningful impact in a supportive school environment? We have an exciting opportunity for you in Hebron, CT, located just 25 minutes southeast of Hartford.
Position: Full-Time or Part-Time SLP
Location: Hebron, CT
Hours: 7:15 AM - 2:10 PM
Schools: Middle and High School
Role Overview:
As an SLP in this role, you will work with a diverse caseload of 33 students, including 26 receiving direct services and 7 on consult. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring and Developing IEP Goals: Support students in achieving their speech and language goals.
- Evaluations: Conduct initial and triennial evaluations to assess student progress.
- SLPA Oversight: Supervise our SLPA and provide guidance.
- PPT Meetings: Attend and contribute to planning and placement team meetings.
- Therapy and Assessments: Provide effective therapy sessions and accurate assessments.
Support Provided:
- SLPA support is available.
- No case management responsibilities for students at this time.
