Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school team in Green Bay, WI. The ideal candidate will work with students to evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders, enabling them to reach their full academic potential.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations for students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Provide direct speech-language therapy in individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to create supportive learning environments.
- Document therapy sessions, track student progress, and adjust therapy plans as necessary.
- Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings to discuss student progress and set goals.
- Provide training and support to teachers and families to promote carryover of skills in the classroom and at home.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Wisconsin State SLP license.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience in a school setting is a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators and support staff.
