Pay Range: $35-$55 per hour, based on experience
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Galveston, TX. This position involves working with students in a school setting to assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech and language disorders. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to improving the communication skills of students and ensuring they thrive academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
- Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions.
- Educate and assist parents and staff with strategies to support students' communication development.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Texas SLP License.
- Experience in a school-based setting preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Passion for making a positive impact on students' lives and communication abilities.
