Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Gallina, NM. This position offers the unique opportunity to work with students from diverse backgrounds in a supportive and inclusive school setting.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed assessments to determine students’ speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that address specific student goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to integrate therapy goals into the school day.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy outcomes.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of comprehensive education plans.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- New Mexico SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required.
- Experience in a school-based setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to improving communication skills for children and adolescents.
