Job Description:
We are looking for a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Flat Rock, MI. The SLP will be responsible for assessing and treating students with speech, language, and communication challenges. This role involves collaborating with educators and parents to create and implement effective treatment plans that support students' academic and social development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapy to students in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students’ communication needs.
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Participate in IEP meetings to contribute to goal-setting and progress reviews.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Michigan SLP license.
- Experience in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds.
