Job Description:
Soliant is looking for a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Concord, CA. In this school-based role, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating students with speech and language disorders, helping them improve their communication skills and achieve their academic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
- Provide direct therapy services using evidence-based practices and innovative strategies.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support students' communication and educational needs.
- Monitor and document student progress, modifying therapy plans as needed.
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings, providing valuable insights and recommendations for student success.
- Educate and provide resources for staff and parents on effective communication strategies.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid California State SLP license.
- ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Previous experience working with school-aged children in an educational setting is a plus.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
