Job Description:
Are you a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist looking for a fulfilling role in a vibrant school environment? We are seeking a passionate SLP to join our team in Chula Vista, CA. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in running a morning preschool communication class alongside a classroom aide and SLPA. You will also have the opportunity to work with students on a comprehensive elementary school campus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a morning preschool communication class with the support of a classroom aide and SLPA.
- Provide speech-language services to students across a comprehensive elementary school campus.
- Collaborate with a full-time veteran SLP at each site for medical leave coverage.
- Split your time between two school sites, supporting various school locations within the district (4-5 days per week).
- Focus primarily on a preschool caseload, offering a rewarding experience with early childhood education.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid California SLP License.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
