Job Description:
Soliant is seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Charlotte, MI. This school-based position offers the opportunity to work with students to assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for speech and language disorders, helping them to achieve their communication goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to diagnose speech and language disorders using standardized tests and observational methods.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ educational goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Plan) meetings and contribute to team discussions regarding student needs.
- Provide consultation and training to staff and parents on speech and language development.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Michigan State SLP license.
- ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience in a school setting or with pediatric clients is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
