Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school-based team in Cedar Rapids, IA. The SLP will assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders, ensuring they receive the appropriate interventions to support their academic and social success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students to improve communication skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to monitor and support student progress.
  • Maintain detailed records of student progress and participate in IEP meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid SLP license in Iowa.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
