Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school-based team in Castle Rock, WA. The SLP will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and providing therapy to students with speech, language, and communication disorders, helping them achieve their educational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment.
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to the development and review of student-specific goals and objectives.
- Monitor and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid SLP license or certification in Washington.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience working in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
