Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Austin, TX. As an SLP, you will work closely with students, staff, and parents to assess, diagnose, and provide therapy to students with speech, language, and communication disorders. This is a school-based position offering a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) based on assessments.
- Provide speech and language therapy in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Document progress and update goals regularly in compliance with school policies.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for student development.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Texas SLP license or eligibility to obtain one.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, Clinical Fellows welcome to apply.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Experience working in a school-based setting is a plus.
