Job Description:
Soliant is seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Athens, OH. In this school-based role, you will play a vital part in enhancing the communication skills of students, fostering their academic success and social interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) with measurable goals.
- Provide direct therapy services utilizing evidence-based practices to support student progress.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to promote effective communication strategies in the classroom.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering insights and recommendations for each student's needs.
- Provide training and resources for teachers and staff on communication strategies and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Ohio State SLP license.
- ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
- Experience working with school-aged children or in a school setting is advantageous.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
