School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Aledo, TX

Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school-based team in Aledo, TX. The SLP will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and providing therapy to students with speech, language, and communication disorders to promote their academic and social success.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on students' needs.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support communication goals in classroom settings.
- Track student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure ongoing improvement.
- Participate in IEP meetings and assist in setting appropriate goals for students.
- Offer guidance and resources to teachers and parents for supporting students’ communication needs at school and home.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Texas state SLP license.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- School-based experience is a plus.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
