School-based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Pittsburg, California
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Pittsburg. This position offers an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of students by helping them overcome communication challenges and achieve their goals.
Position Details:
- Location: Pittsburg, CA
- Employment Type: Contract, in-person, school setting
- Pay Range: $43-$50+ per hour, based on experience
- Schedule: Full-time, during school hours
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide guidance and training to educational staff and families on speech and language development.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Active California Speech Language Pathologist License and certification through ASHA (CCC's)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred.
