School Based Speech Language Pathologist - Needed in Kansas City

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Kansas City, Missouri
Are you a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) looking to make a difference in the lives of students? We are seeking a motivated SLP to join our team in Kansas City, MO! This is a full-time, school-based position where you will help children improve their communication and language skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assessment & Evaluation: Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students.
- Individualized Treatment Plans: Develop and implement therapy plans based on individual student needs to address speech-language challenges.
- Intervention: Provide direct therapy services, targeting speech production, fluency, language comprehension, articulation, and other communication needs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support students' academic and social development.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of student progress, assessments, and therapy plans, and ensure compliance with school and state guidelines.
Requirements:
- Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certification: Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Licensure: Active Speech-Language Pathology license in the state of Missouri.
- Skills: Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Experience working in schools is a plus!
