Position: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist
Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school team. This role involves providing speech and language therapy, conducting assessments, and developing individualized education programs (IEPs) for students. Experience in a school setting is preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CF) are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive speech and language evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication needs.
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to setting educational goals for students.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an SLP.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred, but not required for CF applicants.
- Prior experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
