School Based Speech Language Pathologist: Fremont, IN
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team near Fremont, IN. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a diverse patient population and will be committed to providing high-quality speech and language therapy services to individuals of all ages. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for helping clients achieve their communication goals.
Key Responsibilities:

Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to diagnose communication disorders, including articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders.

Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and client needs. Set measurable goals and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

Therapy Implementation: Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to clients. Utilize a variety of techniques and materials to address communication challenges and improve functional outcomes.

Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress, therapy sessions, and treatment outcomes. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and documentation requirements.

Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, occupational therapists, and educators, to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

Family and Caregiver Support: Educate and involve families and caregivers in the therapy process. Provide guidance and strategies to support clients’ communication development at home.

Professional Development: Stay current with advancements in the field of speech-language pathology through continuing education and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:

Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Licensure: Current license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Indiana. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.

Experience: Previous experience in a clinical, school, or rehabilitation setting is preferred but not required.

Skills: Strong diagnostic and therapeutic skills, excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, and proficiency in using therapy tools and technology.
