School Based Speech Language Pathologist Contract Opportunity
Blazer Jobs is excited to announce an opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in partnership with school districts in the Houston, TX area. We are actively interviewing candidates who meet the following qualifications and are eager to make a positive impact in the lives of students.
Responsibilities:

Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students.
-
Provide therapy sessions tailored to individual student needs.
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals.
-
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and progress reports.
-
Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional input.
-
Support students with a range of speech and language challenges to achieve academic success.
Requirements:
-
Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
-
Valid state SLP license.
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred.
-
Prior experience in a school setting is a plus.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to meet state and district-specific requirements for working in schools.
