School based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant: Weatherford, TX

We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for a school district near Weatherford, TX. This is a full-time position working 30 hours per week, with the district closed on Fridays. The position runs from ASAP through May 22, 2025, serving students in grades 4-6 under the guidance of the lead SLP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead SLP in providing speech and language therapy to students in grades 4-6.
- Carry out treatment plans and exercises to improve students' communication skills.
- Track and document student progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student development.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate progress to the supervising SLP.
Position Details:
- 30 hours per week (Monday-Thursday).
- Caseload of approximately 39-40 students, grades 4-6.
- Immediate start, with the position lasting until May 22, 2025.
Qualifications:
- Valid TX SLPA license.
- Previous school-based experience preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work closely with the lead SLP and follow treatment plans effectively.
