Job Description:
Soliant is currently seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team for the 2024/2025 school year in Morris, IL. This is a full-time, contract position within a supportive school environment, providing essential speech and language services to students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the delivery of speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Implement treatment plans as directed by the supervising SLP.
- Support students with communication disorders in individual and group settings
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or equivalent.
- Valid SLPA license in the state of Illinois.
- Experience in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
State-Specific Requirements:
- Must hold an active SLPA license in Illinois.
- Compliance with all Illinois state requirements for working in schools.
