School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant
Position Overview:
Soliant Health is actively seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join a school district in Hunters Creek Village, TX. This onsite, full-time role focuses on helping students achieve their communication goals in a supportive educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
- Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with communication challenges.
- Record and monitor students' progress during therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to create a holistic approach to student success.
- Prepare materials and activities for speech therapy sessions.
- Follow school district guidelines and state regulations.
Requirements:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Current SLPA license in Texas.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Experience in a school-based setting preferred but not mandatory.
