Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) – Full-Time Position in Ferry Pass, FL
Position Overview:
Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join a school-based team in Ferry Pass, FL. This full-time opportunity involves working closely with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support students' communication and language development goals.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the delivery of speech therapy services as outlined by the supervising SLP.
- Provide direct therapy to students, targeting articulation, fluency, and expressive/receptive language skills.
- Document therapy sessions and track student progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to create a supportive learning environment.
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Valid Florida SLPA license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Previous school-based experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
