Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing qualified Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) for a full-time role with school districts in the Commerce City, CO area. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic educational environment while positively impacting students’ lives.
Position Requirements:
- Must meet all state licensure requirements for Speech-Language Pathology Assistants.
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with SLPs and other educational professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention plans.
- Assist with the documentation and progress monitoring of students' speech and language development.
- Conduct screenings and provide feedback to supervising SLPs.
- Support students in developing communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal.
