Job Opportunity: School-Based SLP in Millbrae, CA
Position: Elementary School-Based SLP
Location: Millbrae, CA
Caseload: Approximately 40 students (PreSchool - 5th grade)
Work Year: ASAP - May 30, 2024
Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM (7 hours per day, plus a 30-minute lunch)
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at an elementary school in Millbrae. This is a high-priority position requiring a skilled professional to support a diverse caseload of elementary students.
Requirements:
- Current CA SLP license (CTC license preferred; must be open to applying if not already obtained)
- At least 2 years of recent school-based experience is preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
- Experience in running Social and Lunch Bunch Groups is preferred
- Valid driver's license with own transportation
- Local candidates are strongly preferred due to the urgency of the start date
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language services to students from PreSchool through 5th grade
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to support student progress
- Conduct assessments and track student progress
