School-Based SLP for a Public School
Plainfield, CT
Location: Plainfield
Hours: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)
Duration: 24/25 school year.
About us: We are a rapidly growing school facility located in the Plainfield area that is seeking an experienced School-Based SLP to help serve our students' needs. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and possess a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments and evaluations of students' speech and language abilities
- Developing and implementing IEPs for students with communication disorders
- Providing individual and group therapy sessions
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals regarding student progress
- Completing all required documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations
Qualifications:
- Must be licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist in CT
- Ability to work independently
- Prior experience working with K-12th students is preferred.
- CFY's welcomed to apply
- Must have or be able to obtain all required Clearances
