Rhode Island Speech-Language Pathologist - Remote for 2025 School Year

VocoVision is looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist to join a Rhode Island school district in a remote teletherapy position for the 2025 school year. This position offers the opportunity to work from home while providing essential services to students in need of speech therapy.

Responsibilities:
- Provide remote speech and language therapy, assessments, and diagnoses.
- Collaborate with school teams to identify and support students who need special education services.
- Work with Special Education Coordinators to create IEP goals and therapy plans.
- Provide training and guidance to teachers regarding speech and language development.
- Track student progress and analyze data for educational reports.
Skills:
- Experience in teletherapy is preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
- Proficiency in speech therapy software and documentation tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot common technical challenges.
- Experience working with diverse student populations, especially those with special needs, is beneficial.
Experience:
- 2-3 years in a school-based therapy setting preferred.
- Experience with articulation, language disorders, or fluency therapy is a plus.
- Teletherapy experience is an advantage.
Education:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
License:
- Rhode Island SLP license required.
- Active licensure in both your state of residence and the state of the school district.
