Remote Teacher for the Visually Impaired in Colorado

Virtual Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) – Colorado
We are seeking a qualified and committed Virtual Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to deliver remote services to students in Colorado. This position is offered as a 1099 independent contractor role, with a competitive pay range of $44-$49 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction and support to students with visual impairments in a virtual classroom setting.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and other professionals to ensure the success and progress of each student.
- Adapt teaching materials and strategies to meet the unique learning needs of students with visual impairments.
Requirements:
- Current and valid Colorado Teaching Certification with endorsement in Visual Impairments (TVI).
- Previous experience as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired.
- Experience with virtual teaching platforms and tools is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Passion for helping students with visual impairments succeed academically.
