Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and licensed Remote Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. In this role, you will develop personalized therapy sessions to students through a remote platform in Maine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Diagnosis: Analyzing students' speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities to diagnose disorders.
- Treatment: Developing individualized treatment plans based on assessments and client needs.
- Therapy: Managing therapy to improve communication skills, including speech clarity, language comprehension, and social communication.
- Research and Continuing Education: Staying updated with the latest research and advancements in the field to improve treatment methods.
- Advocate for Clients: Support students navigate systems such as schools, medical insurance, or local resources to ensure they are receiving appropriate care and accommodations.
- Support Families in Crisis: Offer emotional and practical support to families who may be facing difficulties in accessing services or managing their child’s needs.
Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology.

Active Maine state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP).

Previous experience in teletherapy or remote setting is a plus.

Proficiency in using teletherapy platforms and technology.
