Remote Speech Therapist for Schools – Full-Time in Michigan
Job Description:
VocoVision is seeking a dedicated and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team and provide high-quality virtual therapy services to K-12 students in Michigan. In this remote position you will play an integral role in helping students achieve communication goals and succeed academically, while collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide virtual speech and language therapy to K-12 students via telehealth.
- Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to track progress and adjust therapy as needed.
- Utilize technology effectively to ensure engaging and efficient therapy sessions.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist licensure.
- Previous experience in providing therapy in a school-based setting is required.
- Proficiency in using teletherapy platforms and technology to conduct virtual sessions.
- Ability to adapt and manage a remote caseload independently.
