Position Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced SLP who enjoys the flexibility and independence that remote work provides. As a virtual SLP, you’ll conduct therapy sessions, evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans for students across Ohio. You will be making a real difference in the lives of students by helping them improve their communication skills and succeed academically.
Key Responsibilities:
- Virtual Therapy: Deliver remote therapy sessions tailored to the needs of each student, addressing speech and language disorders.
- Assessments & Evaluations: Conduct virtual speech and language assessments to identify challenges and track progress.
- Individualized Treatment Plans: Develop and implement effective therapy plans in collaboration with parents, teachers, and other school staff.
- Collaboration: Work closely with families, educators, and school staff to ensure student success and support their learning goals.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, student progress, and evaluations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualifications: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Certifications: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Licensure: Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Ohio.
- Experience: Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly elementary and/or high school students, is preferred.
- Tech Skills: Proficiency in using teletherapy platforms and digital tools to deliver effective remote therapy.
- Communication: Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a virtual environment.
