Position Overview:
VocoVision is seeking an experienced and licensed Speech Language Pathologist to join our team remotely. This 1099 contract position offers the flexibility to provide speech therapy services to students across Alabama. The ideal candidate will assess communication disorders, create personalized treatment plans, and collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students’ progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments, evaluations, and screenings to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Provide direct speech therapy services using telepractice platforms.
- Track and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Stay current on research and best practices in speech therapy.
Required Qualifications:
- Licensed Speech Language Pathologist in Alabama.
- Valid Alabama Teaching Certificate.
- Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with teletherapy or willingness to adapt to virtual platforms.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliable internet and appropriate technology for telepractice.
- A genuine passion for helping students succeed.
