Remote/ Virtual School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our virtual school-based team. As an SLP, you will work with students to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in an innovative environment, enjoys working with children, and is committed to helping students reach their full communication potential.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Preferred school-based experience or pediatric experience.
- Preferred virtual experience - but not required.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well with a diverse population of students, teachers, and parents.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students’ communication goals.
- Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting therapy as necessary.
- Provide guidance and support to teachers regarding speech and language interventions in the classroom.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student educational plans.
- Educate staff and parents on speech-language strategies and tools for use at school and home.
